Brenda Davis received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked with children and adults with a variety of disabilities and in a variety of settings. Ms. Davis holds national certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as a license to practice speech therapy from the State of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina Speech, Hearing and Language Association and The International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). She has advanced training in orofacial myofunctional disorders, has completed Level One Buyteko breathing training, and has she advanced training in evaluation and therapy for oral placement, sensorimotor, childhood apraxia, and feeding from Talk Tools and other continuing education providers.
